Scholarship Information

Each year the CNHS NJROTC Parents Club offers four (4) scholarships to graduating senior cadets in the NJROTC Program. We seek cadets who are committed to continued education, citizenship, leadership and/or serving their country. The Scholarships will be awarded to the cadets at the CNHS Senior Awards Night.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Senior Cadet in the NJROTC Program.
2. Cadet's family/guardian must be a member of the Parents Club.
3. Accepted into a 4 or 2 Year College, University, Academy, Specialized/Technical School, or signed an agreement to enlist in the Military upon graduation. (A copy of your acceptance letter or agreement must be attached to the application.)
4. Minimum GPA of 3.0. Transcript is required.
5. Submit a 350(min.) to 500(max.) word essay on the topic listed on the application. 
6. Application should include total number of hours and a description of community service, unit service and participation you completed during your entire time in the NJROTC Program (NS1 to NS4). All community service will be verified though CDMIS.
7. Completion of the physical fitness exam. Major's signature is required.
